Tell us the story of your character becoming a Wanderer:
Since I was young I was trained to be a Jedi. My entire family has always been strong with the force and strived to be one with the Jedi code. There were always strict rules in place so that none of us could deviate from the light side of the force, But I was always a rebellious child. I would often play pranks on the fellow padawans which always got me into trouble. One night after a scolding from my master I decided to sneak out and explore the grounds around the temple. As I was wandering around I tripped over what I thought was a rock, but when I turned to look I realized there was a cave entrance that I had never seen before. Out of curiosity I decided to venture into the cave.
As I explored the cave I noticed that it wasn't like any of the other caves that I had previously explored. This cave seemed as though nobody had been inside it for many years. The walls were old and seemed as though they would collapse at any moment, but my curiosity wouldn't allow me to turn back. It was at that moment that I rounded a corner and saw it. A holocron like none that I had seen inside the library's archives. It was small in size and circular in shape, and gave off an ominous red color. I decided that now would be a good time to turn back before I did something I would regret.
The next day during my studies I couldn't focus. My mind kept wandering to that cave with the strange holocron inside of it. My master noticed that I was distracted and walked up to me, "Is there anything wrong, padawan," he asked as he stood above me. "Are there any caves that haven't been explored around the temple or that the masters wouldn't know about," I asked, completely losing focus on my task at hand. My master pondered for a minute before replying, "All the caves around the temple have already been scouted by the council and deemed safe for everyone to enter and learn," he said sensing my confusion he asked, "why do you ask Reverend?" "No reason in particular," I replied while making the decision that I would go back to the cave that night and learn more about that holocron.
As night fell and everyone fell asleep I snuck out through my window and quickly traveled back to that cave. As I entered the room I could see the holocron in the same place giving off the same menacing glow as it did the night before. As I walked closer to the holocron I could feel darkness seething from it, but my curiosity was to great. I used the force to try to open the holocron only to realize my mistake to late as the dark energy flooded over me and seeped into my mind...
-15 minutes earlier-
My master was concerned about me after hearing me ask such a strange question during studies so he went to ask the council members guidance as to what he should do. when he repeated the question that Reverend had asked to him the council's faces fell which worried him more. "You need to keep a close eye on him," the grand master finally said, "It is likely that he stumbled upon the cave that has been sealed for centuries in which holds a holocron of incredibly dark energy. If he has come across that holocron then his very life could be in danger." Upon hearing this the master rushed out of the council chambers, and headed toward Reverends room. As he passed a window he stopped in time to see Reverend disappear into the forest and quickly gave chase following him all the way to the cave. As he entered the room all he saw was darkness surrounding Reverend and the holocron floating in front of him. He knew he had to move quick and reached out to grab Reverend's shoulder.
As he grabbed my shoulder the darkness in my mind took over as I ignited my saber thrusting it through my master's chest. As my master slumped over I came back to my senses I realized what I had done and started to panic. Instead of checking on my master I fled the cave and headed toward the starport stowing away on the closest freighter ship that was beginning to leave. After what felt like days hiding in the storage bay of the ship we finally landed in Tatooine. I snuck off the ship and disappeared into the crowds before anyone noticed me. As I was wandering around the streets feeling completely lost I felt a hand grab onto my shoulder. As I spun around I saw an incredibly menacing man with glowing red eyes staring at me. "You may be wondering why I stopped you," he said as he looked me up and down, "yes, I can sense that the darkness is incredibly strong with you. You could have a promising life if you follow me and become my apprentice." I had no idea what I was going to do and saw this as an opportunity to have a home so I followed him.
When we arrived on Korriban I realized just how different the Sith was from the Jedi. Instead of working together they all seemed like the were striving to gain power over one another whether it be by dueling, killing, or getting promotions. We walked into the dark council chambers and bowed before the emperor, "this is the apprentice I told you about," My master said without looking up. The emperor stepped down to get a better look at me, "yess, I can sense the darkness is strong within him so I will bestow him his first mission," he said with an evil smile. "There is a traitor to the sith order that I want you to go and kill," he said while walking back to his throne, "He goes by the name Norse and he can usually be found around the islands of Alderaan. Every other Sith I have sent on this task has perished but I feel as though you will be up to the task.” He said as he waved us out of the room.
My master looked at me with a scowl, “He always sends my apprentices on this mission,” he said angrily, “it goes without saying that I can not go with you and will be awaiting word of your success,” he added as he turned away. “Take a ship and head straight there. Either come back with his blade or don’t come back at all.”
As I arrived on one of the Islands of Alderaan the first thing I noticed were mounds that closely resembled graves. Ignoring the obvious warning I traveled into the forest in search of my target. After a few hours of searching I decided to take a break to eat. As I was getting my ration prepared to eat I heard a voice behind me, “You’re not like the rest,” the man said. Before I could react everything went black. When I awoke I was in a bed and although my head hurt I felt a lot more clear in thought. “You weren’t always a Sith were you,” the man asked as he entered the room. “I was once a Jedi,” I said before I realized what I was saying, “who are you,” I asked, getting my thoughts together. “The name’s Norse, but I figured you would have known that already since you were probably sent to kill me,” he said setting the food in front of me, “oh and don’t worry I already cleared all the darkness that was in your mind,” he added with a smile.
“I have the feeling you left the Jedi for a reason, and you were told not to return if you didn’t have my head by the Sith,” He said speculatively, “So why don’t you stay here and become a gray like me,” Norse asked, “I can sense the force is strong within you so it would be a shame for you to waste your talent.”
The only word I could utter was “alright”...
And so my story begins....
Describe what the force is and how your relationship with it: The force is the essence of being. it is not inherently good nor evil, its fire which can both harm and heal depending on the whim of those strong enough to command it.
I myself feel a stronger connection to the good nature of the force how ever i do not shy away from exploring the darkness.
